90 Days to Vacation
Wednesday, January 29, 2020
January has been a slow month, not much visible progress or scale movement.
I have 90 days until I leave for our 10th Anniversary vacation. Though I'd still have fun if I didn't lose any weight before vacation, I'd like to see some more progress.
It's great to know that with all the work I've done so far, I'll fit in the airline seats. I won't need a seat belt extender. I will be able to walk around all day, having fun and seeing sights. I'll be able to wear comfortable, flattering clothing.
But I'd like to fit into my old denim jacket (so practical for travel!). It's a size 10 and I can just barely squeeze into it right now. I'd like to fit into my smaller-sized pants, which are a more flattering cut. I'd like my raincoat to fit a little looser.
Realistically, if I lose a pound a week I can lose 13 pounds in 90 days. If I lose 2 pounds a week I can lose 26 pounds. If I hit somewhere in the middle, I'll lose around 20 pounds, which will put me down one clothing size.
I got this! I don't need to change anything, just keep up with my eating plan and my exercise.
And if the worst happens and I hit a plateau, I'll leave the denim jacket at home, wear my current size, and have a blast on vacation anyway.
It's a win-win!
