Aside from COVID-19, these are my thoughts this Monday morning...
Last night, I wanted a snack and I thought "what will be the healthiest (least calories) and still satisfy me?" Nice mindset. Yeah me!
Interesting thought -- when I step on the scale and see a one or two pound loss, I think "that's not very much" and I'm disappointed. On the other hand, if it's a one pound gain, I think "this is horrible" and it becomes a Big Deal.
I need to remember the scale is just a guideline for how I'm doing not the judge.
Am I cooking at home? Yes
Tracking my meals and using my food scale? Yes
Drinking water? Yes
Eating fruits and vegetables? Yes
Less sweets? Yes
One snack and done? Yes
Then I'm doing what's necessary to be healthy 'n fit. Yeah Me!
