Here I go....

I finally updated--or actually did an introduction and now it's time to put my money where my mouth is. (At least it's less caloric that what I normally put in there!)
It has only taken me 14 years apparently to decide to make the commitment for real. I guess I joined back in 2006 according to my account but I came and went only when I thought about it and I wasn't very active on it (given the total number of points I have, it's easy to see and given the 'points' that the scale shows, it's VERY easy to see.)

Because of the Covid-19 and homeschooling measures that have been put into place and my work, I will now find myself 'free' for 2 solid months. Not totally free, but with more non-committed time than usual. So, if I cannot find time now to get myself on a healthy program, I don't know when I ever will. There have been so many moments that I said: if I only had the time or I'll start taking better care of myself when...

Well, that when is now and I'll have to start slow as I am not in great physical shape--no health problems though luckily--just weight problems and some pressure on joints linked to it, but nothing that prevents me from walking or moving. And it will help with my stress level and my being fed up with so many things. My patience is shorter than the length of ant's leg at the moment. Fed up I suppose like everyone else.

So day 1 begins today and my short term goal (just the rest of the month of May) will be to:
1. log daily
2. blog 4 times
3. lose 2 kg by the end of the month: today I'm at 84kg so to get to 82.
4. Walk 32 miles by the end of the month so approximately 2 a day, knowing that I don't walk everyday--though maybe I can now?--and generally get more in on the weekends.
5. sit-ups 4x week and stretching and small weights for 20 minutes x4 too.
6. drink more water. I like it, I just forget during the day and often just at meals...

And with that, off I go!
