Transformation does not occur in your comfort zone. II

Tuesday, June 23, 2020

I really get the message this week that transformation does not occur in your comfort zone. I am terribly uncomfortable. My goal is to always stay at a point in my life that is eight out of 10. If I slip below eight I'll do something to bring myself back up. Like eat cake and ice cream. That sugar really does a great number lifting my serotonin in my brain. But cake and ice cream are not good for a diet. Especially a keto diet.

So, the question I'm asking myself this week is... Can I stay oh my keto diet, and lose weight,
While out of my comfort zone?

I'm inclined to think the answer is no. Can'ts to quote. Transformation does not occur in your comfort zone. Well I can tell you without sugar and Little Debbie's and rocky road ice cream, I am not in my comfort zone.

So my next question is... Can I complete the next seven weeks, 49 days, of my Biggest Loser challenge with my Spark Dragon team, while remaining outside of my comfort zone.

I could say, this is the time of the covid-19 pandemic, I need to be as comfortable as I possibly can. I could use this as an excuse, but I'm not going to.

Will my family, I'm retired and live alone, be able to put up with me being out of my comfort zone. I can see this not being a pretty picture.

Maybe my goal for the next 49 days is to really put into action my non food things that give me Comfort. I'll have to make a list of those.

I'd love to hear how your transformation is going while you are outside of your comfort zone. It would be much appreciated.
