The Future I Want
Friday, July 17, 2020
I've been really trying lately to imagine what I want my future to look like. It's actually easy to feel undeserving or hopeless or embarrassed about the big things we want. So I want to put these things out to the universe. I deserve them and I can achieve them! This is what I want my life to look like in ten years:
I want to be fit and strong. I want to be able to run and climb and row to all kinds of places. I want to climb Mt. Washington with my husband. I want to do a race in Disney World with my sister. I want to hike to Machu Picchu. I want to go an adventures!
I want to have a Master's Degree. I want to earn my teaching certificate. I want to be an academic. I want to be a full time teacher who inspires students.
I want to grow our family. I want to have a healthy baby and teach it healthy habits. I want to be financially stable enough to show my children the world. I want to have the energy to play with them. I want to have pets that I can be active with.
I want to be working regularly as a performer. I want to feel comfortable in my body onstage.
I'm allowed to want things. And I'm allowed to work for them. I'm not being ridiculous thinking I can have these things. They will be mine! Bwahahaha!
