Days 33-35 I'm still kind of an athlete?

Friday - walked 4 miles on the trail
Saturday - walked 2 miles with a friend
Sunday - walked 2 miles with my dog
My goal weight for the end of September is 230 and I was surprised to be at 231 today. I'm so close! I had such a slow start but it's really rolling now. I may or not make it but I'll be close. I'll probably set a goal of 225 for end of October. I think being more consistent with exercise has helped.
I have been taking it easy to work through an issue on my ankle but I think that's better so I'm ready for a good hard run.
On Saturday, I walked at my friend's pace. She kept telling me to slow down so I tried to walk at her ankle's so I didn't push the pace for her. She was having difficulty walking and making conversation. I could have easily gone harder and still talked. Maybe I didn't lose everything with my time off? I'm just glad to have a base level of fitness left. I invited her to come with me on any of my Saturdays.
Sunday's walk was for training my dog. It was a different kind of fitness. It was frustrating and not fulfilling but I think we made progress. I brought treats. I studied up. I think with some repetition, we'll get there. If I can keep separating my exercise needs from her training needs.
Tonight I have strength training planned. It has been my goal for a while to find the weights I have somewhere in the house. I have not been able to use them for years because of my hernia that I got fixed over the summer. My husband helped me look and we found my 10 lb weights but not my 5 pounders. I had to work up to 10 lb originally so I bought some new 5 lb last night. This way I can get a workout in at home and still catch the Chiefs game tonight.
Ate pretty well over the weekend! Went over my calories a bit but the scale is down. Never went too far over. I have a pretty healthy week lined up too.
