Day 38 - Sept wrap up and October goals

My goal for the end of September was 230 and I weighed in at 232 today, after seeing as low as 231 recently. So, I didn't quite make it. When I started blogging here again I was at 237, so I am logging a loss of 5 pounds.
I'm setting a goal of 227 for end of October (a loss of 5 pounds).
Last night I did 4 miles on the trail, a mix of running and walking. My migraine had improved though I couldn't quite shake it. It wasn't my best night out there and I honestly just wanted to get it over with. I usually enjoy being out there so much.
We had another new recipe last night using turkey cutlets and it was really good. Another keeper. I dropped the ball on planning a side and my husband picked it up and made some roasted root veggies.
Goals for October?
Spend as much time on the trail as possible while the weather is nice
More time strength training, though that can be a winter activity too
Keep leash training Nova (and do this MORE)
Keep meal planning
Stay within calories (one day outside/week is ok)
My busy season at work is set to start any day now. I started blogging daily to help with accountability as I got back into a healthy routine and it's really helped! As soon as it gets busy, I won't have time for the blogs. I will likely just stop them someday soon. Last busy season I removed all social media from my phone too. It was nice to come home after a busy day and focus only on my family, no distractions. That's a habit I want to continue.
