Taking It One Day at a Time, Gladly!

Sunday, November 29, 2020

Still hanging in there. Saw my new neurologist. Hoping to get my MRIs done soon, if Old Man Winter cooperates!

Still in limbo with a diagnosis, but am hoping to have one soon.

My pal, Ramona, invited me to an exercise challenge, and I happily accepted. The first day was me walking around the house and taking the stairs in my broken toes walking boot! Today, I did my PT early in the morning in bed along with a reiki session. It was a good start to my day.

Reiki is a form of energy healing. I believe that it is a form of prayer and meditation, too; at least that is how I look at it. I received training ("attunements") to do it. It has been helping me, and my sisters.

I have a friend coping with MS, and she says that reiki is not a cure, but it sure helps her!

All we need is a little help, right?

Please let me know how you are doing, and God speed in your endeavors!

Golly, am I really a month behind in blog reading?! Yow. I hope by now you have a diagnosis and it's something super easily treatable! And more than that, I hope you're much more comfy now.

See you around in the new year, hopefully on the team pages! I hope to catch up at some point.

I'm sorry to hear you're in limbo awaiting a diagnosis. I do hope you can get some clarity soon so that you'll understand how to get better. I hope it's not too serious, Becca, and that you're feeling okay. Please take care and keep us posted.

My dad is trying to get a neurologist near us that will participate with his Medicare Advantage insurance. No luck yet.

I have to get a CT scan on pelvis and abdomen with Contrast for ongoing abdominal pain that is not yet diagnosed. I'm hoping that it's not really serious, but has been 8 weeks or so now so I went in and got the referral. Today was pain free. I am not scheduled for the test yet.

I hope you get your MRI and good luck with everything!

I hope and pray you get answers soon. I would love to know how to do Reiki. I sometimes wonder if the supplements the doctor has me on help me and then I forget to take my meds and can hardly move so they do work and I will take them. I sent a prayer that something helps you soon.

Hubby's radiation is done and he has had 2 chemo treatments. He has side effects to deal with but we manage.

I'm hoping to motivate myself. My phone doesn't allow me to invite people to a challenge but I was on my computer yesterday and it does. I hope you get a diagnosis soon. I've heard Reiki does work. I have several friends who send me Reiki healing

Seems like this year has brought out the demons in health issues! Hope you get answers soon. And yes, Reiki isn't a cure, but it definitely helps!

DH had spinal surgery on 04 November, so he's recuperating. IN the process, found out he has thyroid cancer, so will have that procedure in April, 2021.

Blessings and all the best. It's been a tough year!
