Creating my own challenge...and you can to!

I decided on Christmas Day that I should make a challenge for myself. It takes 21 consecutive days of doing something for it to become a habit, so I decided that I should exercise every day. That way, after 3 weeks, I will be so accustomed to working out that it will just be something that I'll do as a part of my lifestyle.
I know there are lots of people out there who are exercising daily and are probably thinking it's no big deal, but when you are 100 pounds overweight, believe me, it's a big deal. Besides, I'm not just talking about 10 minutes of exercise. For my first week, I did a minimum of 3 miles a day at a 14 minute mile pace (I'm in Canada and we do have snow and ice, so I turn to Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home videos).
My third day in, I actually worked out twice in one day! I discovered that if I do the walking early, I still have the energy to do other exercises later in the day, such as Ringfit (on Nintendo Switch) or yoga (I like Sara Beth on YouTube because she offers some modifications). I also like the walking videos with hand weights to add an extra challenge.
It's never too late to start a good habit. I hope you'll start one today! Happy New Year fellow Sparkers!
