The first month of the year is basically done! I "officially" started on January 7th. My logged starting weight, though, was from January 4th. I am down 13.4 pounds since then.
My January plan was to count calories and log everything on SparkPeople. I also abstained from sweets, alcohol, and fried food. (Those are my weaknesses, so it's what I needed in order to "jump start" my renewed journey.)
On January 19th, I started walking 20 minutes per day. Just a nice walk. Nothing super fast or fancy. I just wanted to get my blood pumping a little more and work on building up my stamina.
On to February! I know that I always lose more when I first start. From here on out, I'm aiming for five pounds per month. If I can do that, I'll be at my final goal weight by the end of October.
