Spring is sprung

I have been able to maintain my walking workouts on a daily basis. I am averaging about 7 miles a day over the last five weeks or so. Last Sunday I ended up walking 11 miles, but I only walked 8 miles today. And I took an actual rest day last week. In other words I sat myself down and relaxed for almost an entire day. It felt weird, lol.
Oooh, good news for me... I didn’t have to shovel manure this year! The horse farm we get the manure from fixed their tractor, so dad was able to load the manure spreader using their tractor with front loader. On one hand I miss the functional fitness aspect of spending hours shoveling, but on the other hand I avoided getting all sweaty and stinky. I will take it!
I love spring. Everything is starting to bud and bloom. The picture is of a trout lily. They are photosensitive, so I had to wait to take the picture until it was daylight. I actually noticed them a couple of nights ago, but they close up as the sun goes down and I kept forgetting to catch a picture during our daytime walks. lol.
Wherever you are in the world I hope you have a marvelous day!
