Friday Day Two of New Eating Program

I am doing good on the "new eating program" doing things that I had already read on Spark I should do. One thing is not eating things made with white flour. Not skipping breakfast. Drinking more water less diet soda. But the thing I like the best is how the portions for my meals are portioned out. They are breakfast 25% grains, 75% protein, lunch 60% vegetables, 40% protein, dinner 50% vegetables. 20% grains 30% protein. I chose from a long list of approved foods. What is not approved are sweets and for the first 10 days fruit. Last night I gave hubby his first, on this program a "diet dinner" he loved it. I made air fryer cooked chicken thighs, steamed broccoli, carrots with snow peas and Near East wild rice mix Today's Menu Breakfast Two eggs scrambled with 1/4 cup salsa One slice dry whole wheat bread Lunch 2oz deli ham One cup of raw veggies ( celery, red bell pepper and cucumber) Dinner 3 oz salmon One cup steamed Mexican squach 1/4 cup Stove Top Cornbread stuffing Evening snack Sparking water served in one of my fancy cocktail glasses I had a good day today with my exercise too. I did my strength training routine first thing in the morning working for my arms. I went shopping at the Goodwill and got among other treasures a pair of ankle weights. I did some leg exercises my hubby does for PT
