We all need a hug-- -- I am starving for a hug--
We have bananas-- and food ---so------I CAN WALK---
It is sunny----cool,---but I feel like the whole day can be for stuff I want to do---
That doesn't happen very often-

As I type, Son #2, the Air Canada Pilot is winging his way home, from Tokyo.
I had a text at 2-30am, our time, saying, "Pushin' "--which meant they were pushing off, and beginning the long trek back to Toronto.
Funny how his text always wakes me up!

I have been spreading top soil over the brown spots on the front and side lawn--then re-seeding-
I can only get small areas done each day--- then turn the hose on at night.
I am so afraid that the hospital will call in Sudbury and reschedule the cataract surgery and the brown spots will be left there forever--

So, it is a good day to have a great day--It feels good to have the meals planned for a few days ahead at least--I have healthy fruits in the house--sufficient meats--even bought cans of salmon -- (Remember salmon steaks?) --- and cans of Tuna-- (remember tuna casseroles?)-----lotza milk and eggs on hand- tooI
I remember Mom mixing eggs with canned salmon and frying it up--

Himself and I, are not much on big dinners---Funny how ones taste changes with age--
We enjoy breakfasts--lunches--- with not so much of an appetite by supper time.

Mom and Dad used to appear here years ago just before dinner, when all 5 children were home, ready for supper.
I remember hearing her tell me that Dad and her did not enjoy supper so much at their house-- so--sometimes would sit down and eat here.
Lord love a duck! What goes around, comes around-

To-morrow is Mother's Day--
They are telling people here in Canada to do your Mom a favour and don't visit het-- Don't bring her Covid!
It makes sense , but is the saddest thing ever!----
No hugs--- maybe virtual ones ??
