It's been a long time since I posted any of my hobby paintings. Catching up. This is how I have fun and stay happy!

The Boson Terrier belongs to my son's family. Her name is Kona.
All of the paintings are in acrylic except for the bee. He's a watercolor.
The first two paintings I painted from a calendar I have.
The ocean scene really is what you call an intuitive painting. I just start playing with a few colors of paint and eventually something recognizable appears, lol.

I'm glad you like these paintings but let me tell you a saying I always post with my paintings.
"Some of us are born with talent. The rest of us learn technique!" I didn't start painting until late in life. These days there are so many free painting tutorials on YouTube, anyone, ANYONE, can learn to paint, if you have the desire!

And, yes, Tish. Katie does help! Many of my paintings have extra texture in them in the form of cat hair!

I love your paintings!! My favorites are the camping and Halloween ones. It's hard to believe Katie lets you do this. My cats would have insisted on helping. LOL.
