It is a vicious cycle that only you have control of breaking.

Write down some small steps you can take to break it. Where is a comfortable place for you to start? A short walk around the block. A yoga DVD in the comfort of your own home?

The more you sit around, the worse you are going to feel. Recognize that and OWN it. You CAN control this, you CAN break this cycle, and you WILL lose weight and feel better.

This is NOT something out of your hands or control. Take charge of how you are feeling. TODAY!

Find a highly motivating team to get you going, lean on SP friends for support, energy and motivation. YOU CAN DO THIS!

    Hi Darcie,
I know it's so discouraging to gain and have to re-lose the same pounds.... but hang in there. You can do this!!! (especially someone who's been in the army! You can dig deep and get the strength to pull up from this "doldrum" that you're in! I believe in you!

In January, I had just had a knee injury, and had knee surgery 1 week after I joined SparkPeople... I was feeling like I would never be healthy again, and was so unhappy with myself. But SP has made all the difference, and especially the SparkTeams that I've found... there are so many wonderful people out there to keep the inspiration and motivation going strong! I've lost 33 pounds since January... not record-breaking, by any means, but steady progress toward my goal, and I feel so much better! Both physically and mentally... so come on, find some teams, and GET RE-CONNECTED!!!! You'll get those 10 pounds off in no time.
