Almost tripped on perfectionism

I am so excited about finding SparkPeople. This is the first time in a long time that I have willingly kept food records. I weighed in this morning and found that I had lost 7 pounds and I am feeling great.

I have greatly reduced the amount of diet softdrinks I'm taking in by making sure that I drink a bottle of water before I drank a Diet Pepsi. Results - fewer carbonated beverages and chemicals more water.

And Then:

My co-worker bought me a bottle of Pepsi. Afer 2/3 of it was gone I realized that it was Pepsi not Diet Pepsi. I felt the stirrings of the familar - ok I failed now feelings but I squelched them. I drank an extra couple of bottles of water and I worked out harder in PT, I logged my goof up in my food records (something I would never have done before). This has been a great lesson. I'm still on track
