Success over tortilla chips

My office eats lunch at 1PM. I was starving at noon. I broke down and had a packet of Instant Oatmeal at 110 calories. I felt a bit bad since I wsa finishing it just as we left for lunch. My ever so "supportive" spouse drove to a Mexican restaurant. (He is supportive but he is clueless about weight issues being a naturally thin person). I was pleasantly pleased. My comfy tummy let me ignore the chips - something I've never done at that restaurant. The startegy of not going out to eat too hungry really works.

    wow! i had just read that as a strategy yesterday, and.... and frankly, i thought *yeah, right* and dismissed it. I'm really surprised! WTG!!! WTG for trying to eat normally at a restaurant instead of like it was a personal feast! I will have to try it too :)

    Great idea! I'll have to try that next time I go to a Mexican restaurant -- those chips do me in, mostly because I'm usually starving when I get there.
