I am right there with you too. Older, bigger, and start eating healthy again along with the exercise I'm already doing. We can do this!

Don't be disappointed with yourself! We've all taken that scenic detour at one time or another. In fact, I've taken it MANY TIMES!!! Eventually the detour brings us back to the main road, and that's where you're at! You have an emoticon start with your 6 lbs. loss! emoticon and emoticon young lady!!!

Please be sure to take care of your feet, as that's the foundation that God gave us to sand with our physical bodies! I know I was off of mine for a long, long, time, so I know the importance of taking care of our footies!!!

If there is anything I can do for you, just HOLLER and I'll do the best that I can to give you a hand up!

Blessings!

Hello, I'm back to Spark after many years and glad to be back. I am older and larger. Disappointed with myself for gaining all this weight back and never reaching my goal weight. But I shall be victorious, I shall not fail. I have lost 6 lbs so far. Walking everyday, although I took a break today due to so foot pain I'm having. I think I went to hard at it at first. I bought new shoes and they are helping. I really don't want to continue feeling uncomfortable. I can't wait to see the new me!!!!

I will not be defeated.

Blessings to All

Good luck to you! I, too, have put on some weight and can't believe I let it go this far. But I am honestly THRILLED with the Sparkpeople website and have been very engaged with it. I know this site, and the people on it, will help me move towards successfully reaching my goals.

Hello Nancy Jean. Thank you so much for the pep talk. I could very much use your screaming and shouting, words of wisdom, support, or anything you've got to help me along the way. Motivation is a huge obstacle for me. I also eat my stress away. BIG problem. A part of what I see as a problem is that I work two jobs. I'm up everyday at 3 am to deliver papers. I come home at 6:30 am to get myself ready for work and my daughter off to school. I then work full time during the day and get home between 5:30 and 6:30 pm depending on the day. I have maybe a couple of hours at night for the other things that need to be done that day. I just don't know where to start most of the time. If you think you can be my personal cheerleader or offer any assistance at all, I will kindly accept and offer support to you in return. Although, I can see by your pics, you are doing quite well!

You said it yourself, that this site inspired you, when you revisited SP LAND!!! There have been some changes since you've taken your detour via the scenic route, but the basics are still the same. So, come on in and go ahead and jump in with both feet and splash up that water! Get whom ever you can wet with the splash you make, as those are the ladies and gentlemen, who will be helping you!

When God started me on my lifestyle change journey, I was STUFFING MORE THAN 4,000 CALORIES DOWN MY THROAT A DAY! Yep, your read correctly, A DAY! Hence, the 388 lbs. I used to weigh. It was a lot easier putting it on than it has been taking it off. I was down to 170 lbs, but then I got put on steroids, and a few other medical problems cropped up. As of today I weigh 207.2. I know that my tracker doesn't reflect that and the reason is, that I'm in a challenge that weighs in every Monday.

I'll be more than happy to be your personal cheerleader emoticon !!! I'll scream and shout emoticon at the top of my lungs to get you to each mini goal that you have, as all of the mini goals put together, as well as baby steps, add up to MAJOR DIFFERENCES in your lifestyle change!

Don't look at the fact that you have 100 lbs. to lose! When I did that, it was so overwhelming and undaunting. God showed me how to change that mindset QUICKLY! I just went 5 lbs. at a time, and each time I reached that wonderful number, I rewarded myself, with anything and everything, except food.

Join some challenges and if you don't see one that you want to join, go for it and make up a challenge, for yourself, that others may want to join in on.

If there is anything I can do for you, just HOLLER and I'll do the best that I can to give you a hand up!

Blessings!

Hello - again...I joined SparkPeople back in 2011 but I never took off with it. Today, I revisited the site and feel inspired. I'm hoping I can get going and catch some momentum. I am so tired all the time and I miss the once active life I used to live many years ago. Over the last 12 years, I have gained 100 pounds!!! WHAT?! I just can't believe it. How did I let that happen? I could use all the support I can get right now, any words of encouragement, inspiration, personal success stories, anything at all to help me along the way. I hope to make some friends here and I can be a source of support also. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you. : )
