Crystal, welcome to Sparks people - I also fight the prediabetic battle YAY got A1C at 6.0 last time!!! FBS is between 100 and 110 - [ I only stick again fi i get an unusual high reading and then choose same finger on opposite hand ]
I found that some keto reading and recipes helped me a lot - not full on board Keto but as a means of cutting carbs and enjoying foods that are good for me and quit mourning the things i had "to give up" Also Stevia is my go to sweetner was a turning point...
I close my kitchen when done with dinner - no snacking - making sure the last thing i eat is clean protein like egg, cheese, nut butter or piece of chicken or turkey ... Just some real life hints, not prescribing - God bless and keep in touch here

4 fingers each morning? That's a lot of sticks. I wish you all the best with getting your diabetes under control. I know that can be difficult; but, you can do it! Welcome to the team!

Hi I am Crystal Branom I live in Galva Illinois. I am 55 years old. I have Type 2 diabetes that I am struggling to get down to at least 6 or 7 A1C I can't seem to get my morning readings below 200. I am testing 4 fingers because I get 4 different readings then I choose the lowest and go with that.
