I have lost 44 pounds since Feb.1 and 10.5 inches from my waist. i am on facebook Spark People as well with my new picture on it. I have 8 pounds left to lose.

I have added Spark people to face book, name is Linda Wilson,have my picture on it.I am unsure how to put it here as in my computer,not in the files. Clint Eastwood tried to contact me there Feb. 23,2015 when I wrote him as I know him. I will try to phone him.

I would be happy to share when I get my DNA tests done. I will send for the kit the end of next month. Too many expenses now. I like that it seams to give a lot of information. Some are only on one subject, like nutrition or family health history or your family tree. I think with 230 tests for them to do I will find out a lot that will be very useful.

LIN1263 - If you don't mind sharing after you get your DNA results, I'd love to know if you are happy with the level of detail they provide, etc. I'm not asking for the specifics about you, just the level of detail and what you think about the report. I've considered doing DNA testing for my husband, but just not sure he'd get the kind of info he's really hoping for.

I try to exercise daily. I am going to get 230 DNA tests done called 23 and me for $250.00, the same price I would pay for a Dr. on nutrition but will be more accurate. They tell you exactly what you need to eat and if you need a Gluten free diet,family health and what diseases likely to get and family tree. They send all results online to you. Then I will know what type of cookbook my body needs to have.

I try to walk at least 30 minutes a day and go to the gym 3 times a week for 60 minutes each time. I have lost 39 pounds since Feb.1 and eat 1300 calories a day regardless of what exercise I do.

Hey y'all I'm Linda from Oklahoma sorry I'm late posting. I drive a big truck and it gets crazy sometimes. I started SparkPeople in may @ 212 lb haven't lost any, but I really haven't put forth the effort. I have started walking 30 min 3 times a week and that's good for me lol I'm 53 and have RA.

I don't have any health problems yet, but I've reached middle-aged, so I'd like to avoid that as long as possible.

Hello I'm mohammad from egypt and 28 years, 97 kg, 168 cm
I need to lose about 30 kg, I know it's a big challenge but I already did it before, in 2009 I lost about 30 kg my weight was 64 kg but I gained this kgs again so I need big effort, and I know that's need more effort than before because of age and a lot of work time, but I know I can do it.

Hi, My name is Melanie. I will turn 37 this year. My main issue is not the weight. I have 183 pounds at a height of 5'3". I love my curves, BUT with exercises they would look so much better. And if I would lose some pounds and get healthier as a side effect, that's even better emoticon

Hi all my name is Tammy. I have uncontrolled diabetes and hope to get it under control and get my life back. I need to loose 79 pounds over the next year and a half. Or at least that is the goal. I need to change my starchy cheap diet to a healthy one for diabetics. I've cut out the sugar but the starches are killing me.

I hope to make many friends and get this healthy eating down to a daily regime.

Hi, I'm Lorie. I'll be 52 years old next week. I did really well with SparkPeople back in 2008. I lost 160 pounds, and unfortunately put most of it back on.
Sad to say, I've made several attempts to get back on track ~ but seriously hoping this is the time I will do it again & keep it off.
I will be happy just loosing 50, then work on the next 50...I don't want to loose 160 again, as too many people told me I looked sickly & that didn't help to keep the weight off.

My name is Helen and I am back to SparkPeople. I had huge success back in 2009-2010 and lost 75+ lbs, but have gained about 30 of it back. I am in a huge rut... just can't seem to stop eating and am gaining weight daily. Journaling really helped me in the past so I know it will help again.

Hi. My name is Heidi. I have utilized Sparkspeople in the past and enjoyed the positive support.

I have had diabetes for quite a while and am using Sparkpeople to track food (carbs) and activity. My blood sugar was under control until I hit menopause.

I am struggling to take care myself and regain the good control of my diabetes. I decided I am tired of stressing out about seeing Endocronologist every three months because I know my diabetes is still out of control.

So I am here to take control back.

I see my endochronologist today so I thought it was a good time to start.

Hi I'm Amy. I have used Sparkpeople on and off since 2008 but I haven't been on since 2013. I was recently diagnosed with having diabetes which is scary and I know it is all due to my eating habits. I also was engaged in Dec and our wedding is Dec. 2016. I have a high stress job and 2 boys (9 and 12) that also keep me on my toes. I'm usually all about helping everyone else and putting myself on the back burner. The past few months I have been noticing that life is becoming more difficult due to my weight and energy levels and I know this is the right time to turn my life around. I don't want to be the person that goes to a restaurant and is crossing my fingers that I don't get put in a booth and I don't want to be the Mom that is too tired to actually engaged with my kids and go on walks, play baseball, etc. My weight is holding me back from life and I'm ready to get in control of it.

Hello ~~ really happy there's a site out here like this..just Amazing! i had worked SO Hard to lose 100 pounds, and it took me about 5 years to do it, really Lowered my Cholesterol, felt so good and healthy..with LOTS of Personal family issues that have caused me to be Diagnosed with Severe Anxiety, Depression and PTSD..i've lost a lot of Motivation and gained back Half of my weight. i'm also Hypothyroid and struggle Severely with that. Hi Team,

I'm Norma and I am in Ireland. I am a recently separated Mom of two Teenagers, DS16 & DD14. I have put on about 1st (14lbs) since my separation and don't want to turn into thaat sad depressed person who piles on the weight and stops looking after herself after her marriage breaks up - I wanna be the Hot Chick everyone is envious of even though I am in my 40s!

I have been on SparkPeople before but opened a new account as I feel like I need a totally fresh start.

I started watching my food intake a week ago and am doing well so fat. I am currently 9st 6.2lbs (132.2lbs) and want to get down to 8st (112lbs). My plan is to stick to 1200cal per day and so a min of 30mins exercise per day which will be a challenge on the days I am working as I work 12 hour shifts, hopefully it will be easier now with the bright evenings.

My name is SheenaDee and I've been on SparkPeople since 2008. I am 61 years old (I do not feel that old!), retired and loving it. When I finally got serious about losing weight, it was because I wanted to be more fit and active overall and looking better was a great bonus. I lost 63 pounds by following the SparkPeople plan. It works!!!
