Great question Karen!

1) My mom - for showing me not only how to perservere, but how to be compassionate, caring, loving and friends all at the same time, as well as domestic stuff.
2) My father (deceased) - how to stand strong, fight for what you believe in, courage in the face of adversity, how to care and be self sufficient.
3) My son - a lot of energy, unconditional love, to keep moving forward and how there is beauty in everything around you. (Love looking at the world through his eyes.)

Also, my "other" four-legged sons, Madison (woof - deceased) and Maxwell (puppy)...they show unconditional love to no end and faithfulness, along with enjoying the simplest things in life.
4) My husband, 11 years come November, he has taught me that while we both can stand individually on our own two feet, that together, there isn't anything we cannot put our minds to and accomplish, along with a deep love and appreciation for one another.
5) God, that nothing is impossible as long as you believe in him. Very thankful for the life I have and the wonderful people in it.

1) My father (deceased) who was a brilliant, kind, loving man taught me the importance of family and love and that it's okay to make mistakes as that is how you learn.

2) My Mom for teaching me her domesticities. She taught me to cook, sew, etc.

3) My old boss Fred (deceased) who taught me everything I know about the law so I could be good at being a paralegal. I also learned how to apply his dry wit.

4) My DH who taught me optimism and believes you have a choice to wake up happy and alive.

5) My three children and 4 grandchildren who taught me that love really is unconditional.
