I love this idea for a challenge... Just what I need to push my butt back into gear... So today is day 1 and I worked out for 1 hour.

I normally work out 6 days a week so day 7 I prob just do something a little light instead of 1 hour I do like 30 mins.

I read your blog post about this, SpunkyDucky (awesome name!), and I was inspired to try it for myself. Your point about consistency instead of motivation really hit me as what I needed to help me stick it out this time around. I've been on and off with Spark for too long now, and I want to achieve something tangible. 100 days of exercise is exactly what I need so I am here to do it, whatever it takes.

Thank you for starting this, and I look forward to helping others stay consistent too.

Actually odd as this sounds, everyone creates there own rules, it is after all a challenge for you and you alone. My goal was 45 minutes of cardio every day consecutively. Some people do minimum amounts such as 10 minutes for a "rest or light day" Some people count 100 days and see how many they can do (ie 97 out of 100). Some people do 30 minutes a day, every day. Decide what you want to track and we will help support you!

Nice job, Brandi!

I completed day 14 which was the day I participated in a 5k. So very proud of myself. I got home that night at 10pm. Worked the next day and it was a late night. Didn't get in 30 minutes. Really wanted to count my 5k as 2 exercise days. That's not what this challenge is about. No excuses. Exercise EVERYDAY! So, yesterday was Day 1 again. I'm going to keep trying!

Hey girls,
I'm back..... Day 1 again. I'm at the end of a nasty cold so today is going to be sad but I'm going to try for at least 30 minutes of something.
Sorry for the vanishing act, I went home across the country for a few weeks and came home and got sick. It was scattered workouts but for sure not everyday like I need. I am officially back!!!!!!!!
Congrats to you all who have kept up the good work and those who are like me and keep coming back to day 1. No matter what don't give up on yourself.

I did it! and I feel great! I just finished the Cardio Axe by the Brazil Butt Lift and it was awesome! emoticon plus I just got back from my Zumba class just now!

Hi there,

I'm back !! I started yesterday with half a mile on the treadmill. I just did 2 miles. :) I have a 5K in June !! :) And met a friend for lunch today and will do some 5Ks with her in the Summer/Fall. Hope all is well. During my "rest days", I will commit to doing half a mile for the sake of keeping up my 100 day challenge !! :) :)

Today is my day two. My plans for walking outside were sidelined by rain but I got in the car and drove to the mall.

I'm truly aiming for a minimum of 30 minutes of cardio every day for 100 days. That will be quite an accomplishment for me as I am usually pretty inconsistent.

Upper body things that I do sometimes include: pushups, jumping rope (some legs, but lots of arms) and row machine. Hope this helps!

Any one have any suggestions on some good cardio that involves more upper body than lower? I need lots of cardio, but I also have to give my legs a rest? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
