I have a question. I did not have internet most of the week. Can I get partial credit for logging in a couple of days, or will this week be zero points for not logging in each day?

I have a quick question: What's the purpose of huddling twice? Just curious emoticon

I lied, I have two questions: Which is the best thread to chat about progress on the challenges? I just wanted to share how I was doing and see how everyone else is doing.

Sorry I'm just now getting to your question! I'm so used to getting questions mailed that I sometimes forget about this thread!!!

The chatting activity that is part of the INSPIRE challenge should be done on the INSPIRE site, and on the thread labeled "General Chat for All the Lovely Ladies." I took a good look at the thread and it's almost nothing but chat for that part of the challenge.

It's no secret that we're doing something different. The leaders of the Inspire challenge know we're using our Chat thread on the Inspire thread to post our Wave Runner Mini Challenges. It's been several seasons since we even used that thread because we use the one on our private site for chatting. This INSPIRE challenge to do some chatting might be the first one like that, so there are a lot of the same questions: where do we post? And most, not all, but most have chosen to post on the "General Chat for All the Lovely Ladies."

The leaders for INSPIRE do not have access to our team. Only the members who are listed at the bottom of our home page (with member pictures at the bottom) have access to the WR site. Every team participating in the INSPIRE challenge also has a private page. And most do not use their Chat thread on the INSPIRE site, although the INSPIRE challenge did get some of them to chat on their threads at that site.

We have two tracking threads. One for the INSPIRE weekly challenges and another for the Wave Runner Mini Challenges. Both trackers are on the INSPIRE site. Our WRMC template happens to be on the Chat thread, and the INSPIRE template is on its own INSPIRE forum.

Did you get a chance to read the "INSPIRE and WRMC FAQ Guide"? This spells out how the two challenges work and takes a lot of the confusion out of things. I'm going to re-send it in case you need to refer to it again.

Let me know if you have other questions. Feel free to Spark Mail me. And I'll try to check this thread more often.

Life's an adventure ... take it one step at a time and don't underestimate yourself! You're capable of more than you think you are! How do I know this? You're still here aren't you? That means you haven't given up!

Okay, so last week's Inspire challenge said that you'd only get your points on the main challenge (cardio minutes) IF you also posted about your favorite cardio and commented on someone else's favorite cardio in your team chat thread. If the team chat thread on the inspire team is ONLY for the WRMC tracking templates, where are we supposed to do that? It *didn't* say the "all team chat", and if we do it on the chat thread on this team, well...how will they know since this is a private team? Are the admins on this team as well, so they can check up on things over here? Shouldn't everything regarding the "larger challenge" happen on that board?

Sorry for screwing up on the team chat thread over there, but it did say "team chat". *sighs* We already have a tracking thread, so now I'm thoroughly confused.

I have a question-Is there anyway that we could track our mini challenges in a thread somewhere on this team---I post it in a blog but I think it would be easier if we had a thread to track it in here!

Wave Runner Mini Challenges vs. FEF (or any seasonal Done Girl Challenge)

Please read and then ask questions! This will help you understand the challenges!

WRMCs and FEF (or whatever acronym is being used for the current seasonal challenge), are TWO DIFFERENT challenges that run during the same time. You can think of it as a two-part challenge that changes each week.

The FEF seasonal challenge is SparkMailed to you every week by either Newcastle or DancingEarthMom; WRMCs are sent every week from either Margomaniac or Lucky-13. Both challenges are posted on the WR~CT site so you can easily refer back to them.

If you signed up for the seasonal challenge and were chosen to be on the Wave Runner team, then you are expected to participate in the FEF seasonal challenge every week, if possible. This is what makes you an OFFICIAL member. If you don’t stay in touch with Margo and Lucky, and you don’t participate in three of the FEF seasonal challenges, you most likely will be taken off the FEF roster and none of your previous points will count. This hurts the WR team’s ability to earn points and compete against the other teams, so please do your best to participate.

WRs are also encouraged to do the WRMCs even though they are optional. The WRMCs bring more unity to the team and also round out the FEF seasonal challenges. You can choose to do ONLY the WRMCs and not the seasonal challenges. This makes you an UNOFFICIAL member, but you still have access to the team and all the activities, support, and are still a Wave Runner team member. You can keep track of your own points, and still enjoy the WRMCs. If you do any of the seasonal challenges, your points are not kept in the database unless you are able to join as an OFFICIAL member.

On the FEF seasonal challenge site, the Wave Runners have a weekly tracking thread where you copy and paste the template from the bottom of the thread. You’re free to decorate it if you wish. You USE THE SAME TEMPLATE to keep track of ALL of your FEF seasonal challenge points and when you weigh in every week. Just click on the EDIT button and enter your new info.

***Your FEF points are not SparkMailed to anyone, but they need to be up-to-date each week by 8 PM Saturday. None of your WRMC info ever goes on your FEF seasonal template either. ***

WRMCs points are not kept on the FEF site. They are usually kept on either your private or public blog, and are SparkMailed to Margomaniac AND Lucky-13, 8 PM Saturdays. The templates usually change each week with a new challenge.

WR Site: PLEASE DO NOT START A NEW THREAD. We’re trying really hard to keep the site as organized as possible so you can find what you need quickly and easily. SparkMail Margo and Lucky if you think we need to have a new thread opened. There are quite a few threads that are marked “DO NOT POST” and we ask that you please refrain from asking questions or making comments on those threads. If you’re in doubt, ask on the ChatterBox thread or send one of your co-leaders a SparkMail so we can help.

QUITTING THE TEAM: Please contact Margomaniac and Lucky-13 before you hit that “Leave This Team” button. You can remain a WR and come back and visit us, cheer your team mates on throughout the challenges; join us next season; let us know how you’re doing!!! If something was said or done and it upset you enough to want to leave, let your co-leaders know. Let us see if we can work through whatever has made you want to leave. “Once a Wave Runner, ALWAYS a Wave Runner!”

Do they put out a spreadsheet with results? If so where can we see it at?

I am new to this challenge stuff and don't know what you are talking about....I cannot do crunches at the moment...I just had a baby a week ago (C-section). Is that going to be a problem?

I also wanted to let the leaders know I changed my screen name from MADISONSMOM1202 to MAEGENJ. I thought you all should know so it can be changed on the roster and so you all wouldn't wonder who I was when I was posting.

Hey Liddle!!!

This week's WRMC is a continuation of last week's. It would be great if everyone got at least one chance to take a turn.

If you go to the Pass the Baton thread, you'll see that I posted a message saying you can either start a new template for this week, or add it to last week's template.

Kaisersoze has assigned 50 crunches (any type) for today and she passed the baton to Shellie17 for tomorrow.

Hugs,
Lucky

Hi there.

Is there a WRMC this week?

"The true hero is flawed. The true test of a champion is not whether he can triumph, but whether he can overcome obstacles - preferably of his own making - in order to triumph. Charyseeboo and Cariola,

Happy Sunday to both of you!

Since this is our new site, it'd be great to have the huddling here. Tracking our FITS info is the primary reason for using that site, but if you wanted to huddle there also, I don't think anyone would be upset.

The Done Girls are more of a "parent" team for us. The seasonal challenges, like FITS, are organized by DG members and most of the seasonal team members are Done Girls also. The Done Girls almost always have several challenges going at one time since they're a pretty big team. They also send out the daily birthday announcements and chose a member's page to be the Done Girl Page of the Month - a page that shows lots of Done Girl "Flirt" or spirit.

Since we can get 5 Spark points a day for huddling, I'm sure there are several members who huddle on our site, FITS, Done Girls and others.

Hope this helps!

I've been counting my huddles here, but some Wave Runners have been huddling on the FITS Challenge and Done Girls threads as well.
