I made a carrot sauce... boil carrots with evaporated fat free milk and water, when soft put it in a food processor and blend til thick like a cheese sauce, pore over broccoli and bake.

I usually just steam the broccoli and then add real butter and a bit of sea salt. Or just eat it plain and raw. I think I will roast it next time!

I do a lot of chicken-broccoli-garlic sautees with pasta. That's the base and then I add various other veggies and flavorings. Start with the boneless skinless chicken breast or turkey cutletss (you can use olive oil or chicken stock for the sauteeing), throw in the broccoli, whatever veggies you like such as red bell peppers, onions, etc., deglaze the pan with chicken stock, throw in some chopped garlic, add a little lemon juice or white wine, whatever other herbs and spices you like, reduce the sauce a bit, toss in some cooked whole wheat penne. Or you can combine the above method with a chicken piccata recipe, adding the broccoli. Or you can start with the chicken and broccoli and add your favorite jarred organic spaghetti sauce.

Throw together some broccoli with some shredded carrots, raisins, sunflower seeds and bacon bits(op) and red onion. Add a little homemade mayo, or you could even use some plain yogurt that is sweeteened with some honey or natural sweetner and you have raw broccoli salad. My little ones really like it.

I also like to just steam my broccoli and add a little bit of real butter(2tsp) to the bunch with some fresh pressed garlic and spices.

Homemade broccoli cheese soup is a great recipe too. Just make a saute some onion in real butter, add some thickener( I use Whole wheat white flour) and add your chicken stock of choice. Stir well to get the lumps out with a whisk, then wait for it to get thick. Add more liquid, either milk of choice or water and add broccoli and 1 shredded carrot. Cook until broccoli is done, then add cheese of choice.

I'm sure that Sparkrecipes has a good selecting of broccoli recipes, allrecipes.com does as well.

Oooo - I just created a new recipe last night that was really yummy. I cut up fresh broccoli, added some grape tomatoes and some cooked asparagus, then added a little lite balsamic vinaigrette. Yummo!

I love Broccoli Cheddar Soup, roasted, sauted with lemon or raw with a good dip or hummus.

I LOVE roasted broccoli. Spread florets on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with a bit of olive oil and any spices you like (I keep them plain or add some garlic powder or a bit of sea salt). Roast at 425 for about 15-20 minutes.

I just made a batch and added it to cooked bulgur as well as grilled onions and feta.
