Fried some chopped onions in oil then added garlic & ginger paste when brown then turmeric, paprika, salt & green chilies then fish pieces. Cook till done

TUNA SPAGHETTI SALAD

1 can tuna drained
1 & 1/2 cups cooked spaghetti
1/4 cup dill pickle relish
1/2 cup ff mayo
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp mustard
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
1 hard boiled egg, chopped

Combine tuna & spaghetti. Add pickle relish, mayo, pepper & mustard. Mix gently. Fold in carrots, peas, & egg. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
1 cup serving
198 calories, 2 gm fat, 16 gm protein, 29 gm carb, 551 mg sodium, 28 mg calcium, 2 gm fiber

Eat fish so at times add chopped green chilies & onions in a pan with salt & turmeric in oil place fish on top add some water & cook. Cilantro leaves added when half done. This is with small fish though could do so with small chunks too.

Maybe that is why I feel uncomfortable at times with tomato dishes will add sugar. Thank you for the explanation, Tee, having problems typing

Karen...Thanks for recipe. I like one pan meal. I would omit olives since not found of them.

Nasfkab. A little sugar or Splenda is necessary due to tomato acidity. I am Italian and always add a Splenda packet to my tomato sauce. My niece didn't add any to her sauce and it was bitter.

PIZZA SPAGHETTI SKILLET

8 oz of ground beef or turkey
1 cup chopped onions
1 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
15 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
8 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 TBS Italian seasoning
1 TBS splenda
1 cup broken uncooked spaghetti
1/4 cup sliced ripe olives
3/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

In a large skillet brown meat, onions & mushrooms. Add tomatoes, sauce, splenda. water & seasoning. Stir in uncooked spaghetti & olives. Lower heat. Cover & simmer for 15 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Add mozzarella just before serving.


I liked that it only used one skillet. You could use canned mushrooms. I use ground beef. I used a little sugar instead of splenda. Omit olives if you want. It microwaves easy for leftovers.
