If you aren't able to eat home cooked meals over the weekend, you should worry more about sodium than calories. It takes 700 extra calories to gain two tenths of a pound, but going over on sodium can cause you to retain MANY ounces of water. That's going to be the real challenge for you so hopefully you can find things to eat out that aren't too heavy on the sodium. That can be pretty tough since it seems like all restaurants and processed foods really load up on the sodium.

Congrats! My first one ends on Monday 9/30. I am .2 pounds away from my goal, so my challenge will be maintaining during a busy weekend away from home where I will not be able to have many home cooked meals.

Fabulous!! Good for you! I am looking forward to starting my first DietBet along with you! I think it will be exactly the incentive I need to get off my butt, and up on my feet much more than I have in the past.

Today I got my payouts from my latest round of DietBets. I've now done four rounds of DietBets, a total of 13 Bets. I've won $185 (not counting my initial investment of $75) and I've lost almost 40 pounds! I joined another Bet that started this week and have two more starting next week (including Jillian Michael's DietBet!) If I keep stringing these things together, I have no doubt that I can reach my goal weight by my birthday in March and have some cash for a new wardrobe!
