Tried the egg-white wraps today- They are shaped like flour tortilla shells. The texture is a little more "rubbery" than a flour tortilla, so I'm not a fan of the texture, but will give it a go anyway. Does anyone have any suggestions for meals using them?

We'll be getting our vaccinations next week. We just came out of self quarantine today after seeing DH's surgeon. (actually a NP) Every thing was fine. He doesn't have to go back unless there is a problem. & no strenuous lifting for another few weeks. We lucked out with the weather ! No rain, sleet or snow. Well only snow flurries that lasted about 5 min. once. It was windy & cold. High today was a big 24 degrees, I don't even want to know what the wind chills were !!! Glad I had my BEAR COAT on. LOL It's a coat I bought a few yrs. ago ( I paid only $29.00 on sale ~ It had been a $179. coat ! ) It's all faux fur with a big hood trimmed in fur. I'd been wanting it for several yrs. but just could not afford the price. I kept hoping it would go on sale. When I saw it for that price, after picking myself up off the floor, I scooped it right up !!! This was the perfect day for it.
I hope you all have a great weekend & continue to work towards your goals.

Remember to wear a mask, & maintain social distancing. Do it for the ones you love & care about & Yourself ! ; }

It is easiest to make the tea the way you wish...

A - 1) Regular Tea + Hot Water, 2) Let It Steep, 3) Drink

B - 1) Cold Water Brew Tea + Cold Water, 2) Let It 'Steep', 3) Drink

C - 1) Use Electric Tea Maker, 2) Follow Directions, 3) Drink

Add Lemon, Lime or Orange Slices If Desired.

No Sweetener Required...! ! !

So is it easier to make ice tea with an ice tea maker, or boil water, add ice and sugar? I am genuinely curious what the benefit would be.

I solved that problem by cutting the cord with Dish and buying YouTube TV. It still requires an internet connection, but the cost is significantly less, at least in my area. I've never had outages.

It is rather hilarious now that I think of it...

About 5 years ago, I bought an iced tea maker at a yard sale. I used the iced tea maker quite often until I figured making iced tea in the microwave was easier.

So, we through the iced tea maker out when cleaning out the basement.

This summer, I bought another iced tea maker at a yard sale. Really nice one too. Brand-new. Of course, I bought it. Used the iced tea maker once, then let set on the counter.

Yesterday, the roommates threatened that the iced tea maker would go bye-bye if I do not use. So, I got off my tush and make some iced tea with the iced tea maker. I plan on making iced tea with it from now on.

I have to admit...TODAY IS NOT MY DAY!!!!!!

I can watch prerecorded shows off the DVR. This DISH is supposed to record all the PRIME TIME SHOWS (starting at 8 PM) ; BUT...since there is NO SIGNAL...I don't know if it will.
I HOPE after the TECH comes tom., the problem will be SOLVED!!!!!!

Bummer that you are dealing with pet sitting and can't watch TV, etc. That would drive me bonkers. Do they have a VCR that you can use to watch movies that maybe you can rent at redboxes? Didn't see any Wal-martians while there, it was pretty busy and people seem to be normal and minding their own business!

The TV does NOT work....... again! It didn't work YESTERDAY, either. I called & they said a "tech" would have to come out....for $100.00! I was not about to authorize THAT!
I called again TODAY...THIS TIME.....I was told the $100. fee could be "WAIVED"......IF...I took a service for 3 months......THEN....after 3 mos...I could CANCEL.....so...NO CHARGE!
I said...O.K......so....they are sending someone TOMORROW! UGH!

What a day I am having......1 of the cats left a "gift" at the foot of the bed (a nice pile of poop)
I went to feed them....& as I reached into the bag of cat food.....I cut my arm on a sharp corner on the inside of the bag! It bled PROFUSELY for a LONG TIME!!!! UGH!
I should have gone BACK TO BED.....& PULLED THE COVERS OVER MY HEAD! BLEH!!!!!

BTW....Did you see any "WAL-MARTIANS"??????? emoticon emoticon

@ALFBUNDY. That was nice of your friend to leave the pool heater turned on for you! I hope ithe weather clears so you can enjoy it!

@DANLIN60. Savannah is definitely a popular tourist spot! From some shows I've watched that featured Savahhah, it's a beautiful place to visit!

@DEBOW58. I hope you had good weather today for your Avon deliveries! Did you watch the football game, too?

That one day of 60 degrees really spoiled me. Our high today was 40 degrees F. with 50 mph wind gusts! The wind kept setting off our RING doorbell! Every time the doorbell rang, Tas started barking and ran to the door to guard! That's one very tired doggie by now. Fortunately the wind lessened and changed direction somewhat.

My great nephew came to spend the weekend or at least last night and all day possibly this evening too. His mom is getting her house ready for a visit from her dad tomorrow. He didn't want to help her clean. Sat is my dad to sleep in and now we are watching football (NFL) to narrow it down to who are going to be 2 teams in superbowl. Tomorrow afternoon plan to deliver avon brochures and an order, supposed to be sunny tomorrow but colder. For past 3 days it's been in 50-60's and raining we are under flood watches around here due to that. After all it is winter in Indiana. Looking forward to warmer weather and spring again!

This is my 3rd year staying here, taking care of the house & the 2 "kids"! emoticon
