I'm going to get some new workout clothes. Mine are falling apart and this is my incentive to buy some nice ones.

It will be an awesome day! I haven't been there since my youngest was a baby! He's now almost 10.

I'm keeping my weight loss secret, so I won't tell anybody... my husband knows that I go for run/walks (8 minutes running with 2 minutes rest breaks this week), but for the longest time, it seemed like exercise made me gain weight, so that's what I've been telling him. For the longest time, I've joked that I'd end up morbidly obese, yet I'd be wearing a size 0!

There was a discussion about weight on your driver's license earlier in this thread... when I got my driver's license here (less than a year ago) I lied slightly about my weight. I just looked at my DL, and now it says that I'm heavier than I really am!

Once I get to 199 I will feel VERY proud of myself because at my heaviest I was 240-245 pounds and that will be a BIG weight loss.

I can't wait to buy sexy underwear instead of granny panties (no offense!)

Once I am under 200 I am going to celebrate like crazy. I haven't been there in at least 8 years. I've got a pile of clothes I dug out of my "skinny clothes" closet that should fit me again -- I put a photo of them on my sparkpage. Two of the pairs of pants still have tags on them! I HATE to shop so I'm just going to try to live out of my closet for awhile as I don't want to buy a lot of new clothes that will get too big.

And I'm going to join the 190-ville gang.

And I'm NEVER going back there again!

I don't remember the last time I was under 200, maybe Freshman year of High School? I will be happy, but will keep going. Only 4.7 more pounds to go, so I'll be leaving this town in the next few weeks. :-)

Majesticbeej- Wow 36lbs is freaking amazing! Awesome! Congradulations! i bet you look terrific! Screw 200, can't wait till I lose 36lbs...lol! So I stepped on the scale and I gained 1lb. Boohoo and frustration! emoticon So that makes me 2lbs from 200 instead of one. Grrrrr! Ah well, been on the up & down slope before so I'm just keeping my head up and I know it will happen. Great luck everyone and before we know it we will all be shooting for the 190's!

When I'm under 200...I'll probably just cry out of joy. lol. Then I'll make a big deal out of it...because I really have no idea when I was last under 200. I'll probably finally feel like I'm making progress. Its funny how as of today...I've lost 36 pounds total...and it doesn't feel like a lot. haha. I started at 243...so being under 200 would be AWESOME.

Once I'm under 200.... I will be that much closer to reaching my first goal of a 10lb loss! Woo hoo. Plus for some reason these are the lbs that really matter (show up on my body). If I can get below 200 I will be able to stuff myself back into a size 14 (ok ok...there will be muffin top but whose counting?). Front there is a downhill slope. So excited I just can't wait!
Together we can do this!

I'm going to keep my motivation focused like I did when I was pregnant 21 years ago. I just kept focusing on the next visit to see the OB/GYN. So I'm going to focus on getting through the next Villes to my goal.

Its the hope!

Hi
I heard they may forgo the passport and go with some sort of an id card instead. I have my passport just because. The only other country I go to is Canada.

Anyway I just looked at mine and there is no height or weight on it. But I can't remember if they ask you on the forms. There is my name and birthdate and a picture.

They use the drivers licenses in NJ to call you for jury duty too. I know I had one last month and it came in a name I don't use anymore. But they said they got it from my drivers license cause it came to where I live at my mom's house. Not where I use to live when I was married to my now ex.

I don't know how it is for Mexico, but for going to Canada if you drive in you DON'T need a passport yet. If you fly or cruise in you do.

But I heard that may have been relaxed too, so I'm not 100% sure I would have to check with my boyfriend he lives in Canada full-time.

Why would a DL have any of that info? Here in New Zealand they don't have either weight or height. You have a picture, your name, your birth date, optional to have your address, and that's about it. What relationship is your height or weight to your driving?

Wendy where abouts in Canada are you ?? I'm in Edmonton and we have to tell our weight for our driver's license :( When you renew they basically just take the existing number ... which is still lower than my weight now ... LOL ... I can't wait until I can tell them it is lower than that :)

Once I'm under 200 ... I will be back to what I used to think of as my highest weight. I started WW in 2000 at about 198.5.

So as exciting as another ten pounds off will be, there's cold comfort in revisiting what used to be my "huge."

When I get under 200 I will have lost almost 30lbs, so I know that my reward for losing 30lbs is to get my nails done! So that's the first thing I'll do. I may cry, but I don't know if it will be tears of joy because I had never been anywhere close to the 200s until after I got married and things got really tough between us and I ballooned like 60+ lbs in two and a half years! YUCK! I am disgusted with my body sometimes, but I know that I am doing something about it, and for me! So I'm excited about that! Plus I'm a reward driven person so I'm excited about hitting each decade mark and celebrating it with something that is just for me!

Once I'm under 200...

... I know it's still gonna be work to get down to my ultimate goal (165ish??). I'm still gonna have to stay w/in the cal range; I'm still gonna have to drink 8+ cups of water a day; I'm still gonna have to exercise; I'm still gonna have to continue to make wise choices.

It's not gonna be a free ride for me in 1-derland. But it's gonna be easier, b/c I had the 200's as a training ground. I know what I'm doing now & I'm feeling GREAT about myself, which is such a key factor in all this.

Those poor people who are doing this beginning in the 100's somewhere. They didn't have the 200's to learn from & to build momentum with.

I've always weighed more than my husband and we've been together 16 years. Now I'm getting close to his weight and he keeps saying he has to start losing so I don't pass him up. I wouldn't have a problem with it, that's for sure! LOL!

I know what you mean! My bf was always lighter than me...now I weight about 25 pounds less than him. We were about the same for a while...then he got under me again, then he stopped losing weight and gained a little back while I kept losing...so I officially weigh less than him, it's the coolest feeling...but it was awful when he weighed less than me, women are always supposed to weigh less than the men they're with in my opinion!

Oh my god... I'll be so excited I won't know what to do!

I'll probably tell my husband, LOL! He can already guesstimate my exact weight but I just won't discuss it!!! (Except of course to tell him how many pounds I've lost -- that's always a PLEASANT disclosure...) I felt embarassed because I outweighed him for awhile, but I don't now thanks to good old SP... Yay!

Kiki - I hope you enjoy your cry when you get there. I know exactly how you'll feel when you hit that 199 or lower because I can already taste it, it's so close. Good luck!

Hi Ladies:

Denise, I'm with you in that I have plenty to choose from my closet without having to buy any new clothes - I have friends and family who love shopping, and either buy me clothes, or give me their very-near-new clothes. Spark is encouraging in having us set up visuals, so I took a picture of the dress I would like to wear (comfortably) for an August wedding - it should be on my page by tomorrow. When my daughter was home for Easter, she saw the dress hanging outside of my closet and asked me if I was wearing that dress to the wedding I attended this past Sunday. I had to chuckle, because I really am patient to wait until it is the right fit and the right time.

Hope everyone has a great week.

"What! You too? I thought I was the only one!"

I understand COMPLETELY what you're saying. I probably will cry too ... and the scale this morning said 201.4 so I'm pretty dang close. :-D I don't remember the last time I was under 200 ... I want to say that I was in the 200's when I started high school but I just don't know. I know I was in a 14/16 top and 18/20 bottom when I graduated and that was 8 years ago.

Let's all have a cry because we deserve it!

I'm in agreement with all of you. I just had to go buy some new clothes because everything from last summer was too big. The only problem is, I'm right on the border and can't get out of the women's section yet. Some things fit me rather loosely and I don't think it will be long before I can make that step into the misses department. I bought some things to get by but hope by the fall to have to buy a whole new fall/winter wardrobe in "normal" sizes. LOL!

Well, I have a lot of hopes for the under 200 mark. I leave for a vacation in a few weeks, and if I play my cards right (or much better than I did this weekend, but there are no more birthdays or food holidays between now and then) I'll be JUST under 200 by the time I leave. The first thing I'll probably do is cry. The last time I was under 200 was probably in middle school, if not, than early high school! I was about 220 when I graduated and started this journey at my all time high of 262. I already weigh less than I did when I met my boyfriend, but to be under 200 will be a point that will probably take me days if not weeks to comprehend. I can barely squeeze into normal 16's, so if I go clothes shopping on vacation, I'll probably buy some pants that later in the summer I can actually comfortably fit into them. Also, in tops I can fit into an XL. I took my sister's two halters that she got from the GAP, a place where I've NEVER been able to get clothes from, that were XL and they fit me fabulously. I am not giving them back. So, if I don't mind the tops fitted, many are designed that way for women, I'll get some tops that I can wear while I'm there. I just can't wait until I don't HAVE to wear any of the clothes in my closet now, but instead, have to go shopping to find things that fit!

I can't wait until I can fit into clothes made for my frame ... ie: petite clothes. I'm 5'2" and my legs are short and my arms are short and no matter if it says petite plus, it doesn't work. Everything is too long on me. I'd love to wear capris but the only ones that fit are the ones that are made for "regular" height women and so they look like high waters on me. They don't make true petite clothing higher than a 12 so I can't wait until that day. I'll be WooHooing all over the place.

I complained 2 years ago when I was stuck right in between the regular sizes and the plus sizes. Could never find a store that covered the gap between 14 and 16 here. But now that I'm solidly in the smallest size at the plus stores i'm yearning to be back in between. Something heartbreaking about crossing that line completely. Hopefully next month I'll be in between again.

Evening!

I have to tell you ladies, I loved shopping when I was an 18W, and I'm still loving it at a 16-14! I really do miss some stores like Elisabeth, and sometimes Lane Bryant. I still buy my bras in there as I am convinced that they have the best most comfotable and long-lasting bras ever.

When I can't fit in them anymore, not sure what I will do.

A quick word of advice - and I'm still trying to figure this out myself - have a plan. Start looking at the stuff in your closet and deciding which ones you want to get rid of, and which ones you may want to alter. Also, start window shopping in the stores with the smaller sizes to see where the good deals are. Start trying on somethings. See what might look good on you next month - or next week! It's a great motivator, and you may surprise yourself!

I can't wait until I'm in a 14! I have been stuck here at this weight for the last 2 weeks. Of course, I've moved and bought a new scale. The problem with moving is that I can't find my clothes that fit and we ate out for a week because the stove wasen't hooked up.:( I'm back on track starting today and I look forward to getting into a smaller size. The funny thing is while moving, I found my swimsuit that is a size 14. I fit into it, but it's not pretty:(

I know what you mean...I hate the "plus" sizes, it feels like I have always been there. It will feel weird when I don't have to buy them. My friend said this to me last night that she walked by a plus store (that she used to shop) and felt a twinge, like she was seeing an old friend. I think that is what I will feel like. I mean to have that number "2" in front of my weight it is like it has always been there and I have been confortable with that to see the number have a "1" in front of it, it seems too "unreal". It will take some getting used to.

I am hoping to be at a size 16. 18 now and still have to shop in the women's section. The clothes there are NOT CUTE!!! I hate them.
