trying each month to add more activity to my life but not off to a good start this month 2 days of laying on the couch because when I sit up the whole room was spinning. Up moving around today and so far good. Will at least work out 20 mins with Jane Fonda DVD.

I exercise every day and as I gain more strength and endurance I am upping the time and the kind.

The Lord is my tower and my strength!

I did 839 minutes of exercise in my first full month (Oct) I am aiming for 1000 this month. YEAH ME!

Exercise is my downfall as well but I got plenty of exercise this week helping my daughter pack her things and move back home. Of course I overdid things and my back is just aching.

This is an area that I really lack self discipline. I have a very hard time motivating myself to do exercise. I'm going to really focus on this for this month.

For the first week, In addition to the treadmill I'm going to add a routine using the stationary bike.

Needless to say, I'll be giving myself a pep talk every morning, "I can do this".

Wonderful ideas. I really do have to do something to remove some weigh as now my cholesterol is over 200, never been there before , so not good. Thanks for this challenge.

How many of you have a routine that you do daily regarding your exercise? We all get into the habit of doing our exercise approximately the same time, the same days, and of course the same exercises. Let's add some variety to it. This challenge is designed to introduce a new exercise every week. Rotating your workouts not only benefit your body, but it also helps keep "boredom" at a distance. For example, here are some of the things you can do:

1.) If you're a walker, change your style. Walk 5 minutes at your normal speed, then increase your speed for 2 or 3 minutes and return to normal speed. Continue doing this approach during your entire walk.
2.) During your strength training routine, switch to a different exercise. Use some dumb bells, (books or cans will work if no weights are available)

The idea is to make it fun and see what you can do to get some more exercise in. Have fun, be creative and just keep moving!
