Welcome to 2013. It is time to think of our goals and the reason we are thinking of them. As the Covey people remind us, we should start with the end in mind. We need to begin any worthy project thinking of what we want to accomplish. Here are some thoughts on this:

“No one can go back and make a brand-new start, my friend; but anyone can start from here and make a brand-new end.” ~Dan Zadra

“The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.” ~Stephen Covey

“If you don’t know where you are going, than you probably won’t end up there.” ~Forrest Gump

“It is easy to say “no!” when there’s a deeper “yes!” burning inside.” ~Stephen Covey

These quotes all place us at the beginning--the beginning of the year, the beginning of our weight loss, the beginning of our plan, etc... One of them talks to me more than the rest and I'll share that later. Anyway, does one mean something special to you where you are in your place in time? Do any of them motivate them more than others or push you into determining your own goals? Share your first goals of 2013 with us. Are these new goals, revised goals, or continued goals for you?
