Having chronic pain since for 20 years and just working through it and not fixing the problem has got me to the point in my life where I am almost immobile. I wish I had just listened to my body earlier and done the physical therapy I was supposed to do when I was 16 yo. I'm on a good path now, but am trying to find ways to strengthen my muscles so that I can work my way up to actual impact exercise. So thank you for this article! Report
This article was very timely and I do not care how long ago it was written. I have aplastic anemia and psoriatic arthriis and needed to read this. I was always so active and it breaks my heart to be weak and dizzy with pain as well. I need to really get into either Thai Chi or yoga in a big way in order to keep from going completely to pcs. Food is no longer a problem. My appetite is such that nutrition is all I really am concerned with. Even though I am not heavy I still love Spark for the spirit of support. Love to all! Report
